Product introduction:

DOC:

DOC is one of the most important catalysts for diesel engine reprocessing. It is main used to oxidize the unburned hydrocarbons (HC) in the engine and the carbon monoxide (CO) produced during combustion into harmless water and carbon dioxide. It will also Ignite the fuel that is injected into the aftertreatment system, raise the exhaust temperature to achieve DPF regeneration.

DOC use precious metals coated on the catalyst substrate, such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium, as catalysts to convert the emitted HC/CO/NO by the engine into harmless water, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen through redox reactions.

-Platinum has a conversion effect on hydrocarbons.

-Palladium has a conversion effect on hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides.

-Rhodium has a conversion effect on nitrogen oxides.

 

DPF:

DPF Filters are used to remove any remaining diesel particulate matter or soot that the DOC could not oxidize, prevent them releasing to the atmosphere. Honmat DPF filters show quite impressive filtration efficiencies, exceed 90%, as well as excellent mechanical and thermal durability. Nowadays, carbon capture by DPF has been proven one of the most effective control technologies for the reduction of particulate emissions with high efficiencies.

 

Mixer: It promotes the well mixture of the urea injected into the after-treatment system and the exhaust gas.

 

SCR: SCR use precious metals as Catalyst (reductive), to convert the NO and NOx in exhaust gas to N2 and H2O by injection of urea.

 

ASC: SCR use precious metals as Catalyst (oxidation), to oxidize the excess NH3 to N2 and H2O.

NOX sensor: the front NOX sensor is used to detect the NOX concentration and oxygen concentration in the engine exhaust, and the corresponding signal is transmitted to the ECU for controlling the amount of urea injection and DPF regeneration, and the rear NOX sensor is used for OBD monitoring to monitor the NOX emissions.

 


 

Exhaust gas temperature sensor: It is used to measure the exhaust temperature at different positions on the catalytic converter, including the inlet air temperature of the DOC(T4), the inlet air temperature of the DPF(T5), the inlet air temperature of the SCR (T6), and the temperature of the catalytic converter exhaust tailpipe (T7), transmit the signal to ECU   correspondingly;

PM sensor: It is composed of two parts: electronic control unit and induction unit, which is used to detect PM (particulate matter) in engine exhaust, and transmits the corresponding signal to the ECU for OBD and PM monitoring;

Differential pressure sensor: used to detect the exhaust back pressure between the DPF inlet and the outlet in the catalytic converter, and transmit the corresponding signal to the ECU for the functional control of the DPF and the monitoring of OBD;

Ambient temperature sensor: used to measure the ambient temperature;

Control unit: It is mainly used to complete and monitor a series of work such as particle collection, regeneration, urea injection, catalysis, etc..
